For the first time in 20 years, the Perry Meridian boys soccer team made it to semi-state.
They beat 12th ranked,  5-time regional champ, and defending state champs, Center Grove, in the regional final to advance to semi-state thanks to a Noah Nash header.
Our Falcons were the only unranked team still left in the final eight.  However, they weren’t quite done yet.  They went up against 4th ranked perennial powerhouse, North Central high school in the first round of semi state and beat them 1-0 on a Timmy Annee goal.  Hours later, they had to play again in the final four but were defeated by Evansville Memorial, a team scoring over 100 goals this season.
Congratulations to our Falcon soccer players on their extremely special season! When everyone counted them out, they just kept winning shocking the Indiana soccer world.
