Several Perry Meridian High School students, faculty and administrators celebrated Wednesday by honoring those students who earned a 5.0 or higher on their latest WIDA test. “This is a huge accomplishment and we are very proud of them”, said Geography and History teacher, Andrea Hagenmaier. WIDA or World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment is an educational consortium of state departments of education. Currently, 35 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico participates in the testing which measures the proficiency standards of those students who are English language learners. Congratulations!
