Eighteen Perry Meridian High School students were guest’s of superintendent Dr. Thomas Little, Assistant Superintendent Bob Bohannon and Principal Rolland Abraham Tuesday. The annual Fall student luncheon gives the superintendent a chance to discuss a wide range of topics with students and gather their input.

The teens expressed a lot of Falcon Pride while discussing some serious issues such as school safety and security. Some pitched ideas for getting students more involved in community service and after school activities. Other areas of discussion included the districts strong support for the arts, the balanced calendar, block scheduling and even plans to upgrade the schools outdoor athletic fields. Dr. Little will hold a similar session with a group of Southport students on Thursday.
