October is designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Students at Perry Meridian Middle School were asked to wear pink to raise awareness of breast cancer.  This was sponsored by the PMMS volleyball teams who donned various pink items at their recent games.  Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women.
