n April 23-25, the Perry Meridian Middle School Music Department competed in the 2015 Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Gatlinburg TN.

The groups that competed were the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir and Vivaldi Orchestra. The results were:

Grant Christian – Outstanding Guitar soloist award
Katie Creager – Outstanding Flugelhorn soloist award
Harrison Dunse – Outstanding Tenor Sax soloist award
Trumpet Section – Outstanding section award
Rhythm Section – Outstanding section award
Concert Choir-1st overall
Vivaldi Orchestra-1st overall
Cello Section – Outstanding section award
Bass Section – Outstanding section award
