Mrs. Jeni Reed’s 5th grade reading class at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School is working on the annual class holiday movie. This year, they read Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer by Robert L. May.  A team of students adapted the book into a screenplay. Other students were responsible for designing and creating scenery, costumes, lighting, camera work and learning lines “on the fly”. This is a culminating activity to the story “Special Effects” in their 5th grade reading book. The “world premiere” of the movie will take place on December 19th.
