This week, Mrs. Michelle Langdon’s preschool class started a new unit called “Holidays around the World.” Monday, they completed their passports and made their suitcases. Tuesday, they “flew” to France and learned how to say, “Hello” in French. When they “landed in France”, each student was welcomed with a warm “Bonjour!” and a stamp in their passports. They wrote letters to the French Santa, “Pierre Noel.” Today the children “flew” to Japan, “Konnichiwa!” Since people in Japan eat with chopsticks, everyone practiced using chopsticks. It’s not easy to place one marshmallow in a single ice cube compartment. Their next destinations are Mexico and Sweden!
