On May 15, 2014, PMHS lost a beloved math teacher and coach, Mr. Dave Thornton to a four year battle with colorectal cancer.  He left behind his wife, Allison, and two daughters, Ansley age 7 and Ellery age 4.  Mr. Thorton’s previous calculus class collected funds to create unique blankets with the girls’ names, math equations, funny and famous quotes of their dad.  The blankets were recently presented to the girls.
