Perry Meridian Middle School’s science department recently received so much more than “a box of rocks” from long time Perry Township residents, Diane and Virgil Billiard. The Billiard’s children attended PMMS in the ’70’s and education is held in high esteem for their family. It seemed only natural for them to want to give back to the district. Mr. and Mrs. Billiard have been collecting unique and memorable rock specimens over 60 years. Among their favorites are various types of fossils. In donating their collection to PMMS, they hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for natural resources. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Billiard for sharing your treasures with PMMS.
