For the past 10 years, it has been a tradition for Douglas MacArthur 5th grade students to sign their names on the yellow rock, located by the DM sign.  The names appear on the rock for one year.  At the end of the year, the rock is painted, ensuring that the names will always be there, and adding a new layer for the next class of 5th graders.  This year was no exception.
