Fourth graders from Rosa Parks recently ventured to southern Indiana for their annual field trip to Corydon (our first state capital) and Marengo Cave. Their excursion, which supported both social studies and science standards, included touring the first state capitol and the mansion of Governor Hendricks (our third state governor), a demonstration at Zimmerman’s Art Glass, and a guided tour of the Dripstone Trail at Marengo Cave. The Rosa Parks PTA was instrumental in helping to keep this field trip cost affordable for all families.  Students will remember this trip for years to come.
