During a reception, prior to Monday evenings school board meeting, Rosa Parks Elementary was recognized as a Four Star School for the 6th year in a row. To be recognized as a Four Star School, the school must have performed at the top 25th percentile in every content area tested at each grade level. School Board President, Mr. Chuck Mercer and Assistant Superintendent, Vickie Carpenter presented the award to Principal Mr. David Henriott.

Several staff members attended the presentation. Perry Township Schools is excited to recognize Rosa Parks for this distinguished honor.

Rosa Parks Elementary has also been designated a top 10 school in Marion County.
