The annual Southport High School cheer clinic is the cheer program’s biggest fundraiser of the year. SHS Freshman, JV and Varsity cheerleaders work with K-8 children teaching them how to do cheers, dances, motions, jumps, tumbling, stunts and more. It’s a lot of fun for the girls who come to the clinic but also for the cheerleaders who work with them. At the end, the girls perform a routine for their parents based on what they learned during the day. Everyone leaves with smiles on their faces.
