Students at SMS reached and exceeded their 8,000 book reading goal.  They read a total of 8,367 books this year! To celebrate, students had the opportunity to shave the head of Mr. Brian Knight, SMS Principal. Mrs. Johnson’s class afternoon Language Arts class led the class count by reading 632 books during the school so these students cut Mr. Knight’s hair.
