Southport High School inducted 59 new students, 5 seniors and 54 juniors, into the National Honor Society on Sunday afternoon, April 10th. Following the ceremony, NHS members, their families and SHS staff members enjoyed a reception of cupcakes and punch in the cafeteria. The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes outstanding high school students. Scholarship, leadership, service, and character are the cornerstones of NHS students.
