Students in Mrs. Monica Miles’ math classes at PMA completed STEM Challenges this week.  STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) promotes teamwork and problem solving using hands-on materials.  Here, students were challenged to create a gumdrop and toothpick structure strong enough to hold a heavy textbook.  What a fun challenge!
