Elementary students attending intersession at Abraham Lincoln Elementary this week are learning through lots of fun experiments designed and focused on S.T.E.M. That’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

One class was launching little green army soldiers via a catapult. First they predicted how far their soldier would go then they did the actual measurements from the experiment. Other classes were building suspension and arch bridges and another class built boats to see how much weight the boats could hold in water. They used pennies to simulate the weight factor.
