Longtime assistant principal, Stephanie Quinlan, will take over at Southport Middle School in the Fall. She was named, by the school board and Dr. Little, Monday night to take over the principals post from Brian Knight who’s moving on to be principal at Southport High School.

Mrs. Quinlan, pictured with her family, has served as assistant principal at SMS for 11 years. Before that she was a classroom teacher for 10 years.
