Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Lapkovitch meet monthly for book buddy science projects, funded by a PTA grant, with our first and second grade students. This month, students studied the life cycle of a caterpillar/butterfly. In the classroom we watched tiny caterpillars arrive, eat and grow, and then transform into beautiful butterflies. Last Friday, our book buddies met to do a life cycle craft and then to release the butterflies together.
