Fifth grade students in Mrs. DeCamp’s World Language class at Jeremiah Gray Elementary used the word cloud web site, Wordle, to practice using adjectives in Spanish. Students rotated to each classmates laptop and typed the Spanish adjective from a list of 10 that they thought best described each individual. The more often a word appeared, the bigger it was when the students generated their personal word cloud. Students had to spell the words correctly and make sure that the adjectives agreed with the gender of the person they were describing. Some students were surprised by the results.
