Students have met their first goal in the Southport Middle School Reading Challenge.  Students read over 1,000 books during the first 6 weeks of school.  To recognize SMS students for being super readers, the administrative team dressed up like superheroes during lunch.  Student enjoyed their lunch periods being “super”vised by some of their favorite superheroes.  Students at SMS are quickly approving the 2,000 book mark.  Keep reading Southport to meet our goal of 8,000 books this school year!
