Mr. Rick Hightower, the township’s Communications, Marketing and Media Relations Coordinator, spoke to Mrs. Kiley Stiller’s and Mrs. Cathy Wessel’s classes, Thursday at Perry Academy as part of their next PBL project kickoff. Students will be writing argumentative articles which will be published in an online magazine. Mr. Hightower shared insights from his days as a news reporter on how to conduct research, listen to all sides of an issue, and how to present information to an audience. He also provided examples of timely topics the students could use for their articles and suggested resources students could use for their research. Students are very excited to have Mr. Hightower as their community partner for this project!
