Students and teachers from Team Encore at Perry 6th Grade Academy visited the Indianapolis Children’s Museum on Nov. 5. Students participated in a workshop on “Sacred Journeys” where they learned how ancient cultures preserved their past. Students got a chance to create their own books and try their hand at pictographs, clay writing, and other forms of writing from the past. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Terra Cotta Warrior exhibits were also very popular with the groups.
