Earlier this year, SA students from Team Respect and Mrs. Bastien’s Art classroom showed their thanks to the men and women of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department by writing letters of appreciation and making holiday ornaments for the new recruiting class.  On May 26, Sargent Mechelle Castor and Major James Cleek visited SA and honored each student with an Outstanding Citizen Recognition Award.
