Children in the Early Childhood Academy read “The Foot Book” by Dr. Seuss.  They made a shoe graph, discussing different attributes that describe shoes. The preschoolers then placed each person’s shoe into the correct row on the graph and counted the different types of shoes. Velcro shoes received the highest number with 10.

During work time the children traced their feet, creating a class book. The children also measured their feet and wrote one thing that their feet can do. Each page read, “My feet are __ cubes tall. My feet can __.”  Mrs. Rebecca Hauber is their preschool teacher.
