The synthetic turf for Perry Stadium has been unloaded and is ready for installation!  The turf blades will be 2 ¼” long, arriving in 15 ft. rolls.  It will be filled with crumb rubber to within ½” of the surface.  A golf cart equipped with a special brush will spread the rubber evenly into the turf fibers.

The end zone design for Southport will have the word “Cardinals” (white letters with red background) on the east side of the field.  Likewise, the end zone design for Perry Meridian will have the word “Falcons” (navy letters with light blue background) on the west side of the field.  The Ray Skillman logo will be incorporated along the side lines.

Once completed, the maintenance of the field will be minimal.
