Students in Mrs. Grove’s second grade class at ALE completed UPCYCLING projects in celebration of Earth Day 2015. Students were required to take something that would normally be thrown away and turn it into something new and usable. They then had to write step by step instructions on how to recreate their projects.

Projects included a milk jug turned into a watering can, headband made from an old t-shirt, a sock puppet, a mason jar vase, a pop tab bracelet, and many other creative and beautiful works of art!
