AP Environmental Science students at Southport High School went on a field trip to several bodies of water in the area.  Students collected water samples and are now in the process of testing the water to determine how healthy it is and if it is suitable for aquatic life.  The class also went to a local farm where students learned about buying local and how it is a sustainable process that helps the environment in many ways.
