Preschoolers in Mrs. Shannon Grossman’s class in the Early Childhood Academy embraced the winter conditions and performed some experiments with ice.  They added color to the ice with eye droppers and observed what happened.  Next, they added both table salt and Epsom salt to ice.  The children watched and waited patiently to see which salt would melt the ice faster.
