Many classrooms at Burkhart used part of the Fall Festival Day to complete service projects. Fifth graders in Mrs. Elkins’ class decorated pumpkins to deliver to nursing home residents. Fourth graders in Mrs. Muckerheide’s class created kindness rocks with inspirational messages to uplift others, and fourth graders in Mr. White’s class finished the rock path around the pond in the outdoor classroom.
