All That Jazz Choir
Fourth and fifth graders can try out to be a member of the All That Jazz Choir. This group, led by our music teacher Mrs. Rogers, meets after school twice a week to develop show choir programs to perform in the community. Their year culminates with a three-day trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to perform at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival.
Spell Bowl
Fourth and fifth grade students who excel at Spelling can try out for the Burkhart Spell Bowl team. The top spellers in the school learn a list of 750 words during the first four months of the year. Being on this team requires a lot of hard work and effort! The team competes in a Township and District competition every year in November.
