In Fall 2019, Perry Township Schools will launch its inaugural Perry Township Leadership Academy.
The Academy is an engaging, yearlong learning experience for select Perry Township community leaders and parents to gain a deeper understanding of our school district.
Administrators will provide Academy participants with a transparent look into each area of running a district including academics, finance, operations, transportation and more.
The Academy was designed with three goals in mind for participants:
Academy participants will attend six classes that will meet at 8 a.m. on either the first or second Monday of the month from August – March:
The first and last sessions will run approximately 90 minutes; the others will last approximately one hour. Each class will be held at one of our schools or district facilities. The locations will be announced in the coming months.
Upon completion of the program, participants will be celebrated during a special graduation ceremony. We invite Academy graduates to become passionate ambassadors who share our district’s vision with our community, as well as dialogue with district leaders about future projects.
