We appreciate our community partners who help our families during times of need.
Perry Township Schools partnered with Tempur Sealy International which generously offered to donate 20 new mattresses, as well as bed sheets, to five families displaced by the Feb. 2 fire at Regency Park South Apartments.
On Feb. 8, Perry Township Schools’ Facilities Department took two box trucks to Tempur Sealy’s warehouse on Bradford Rd. in Plainfield and loaded up queen and twin mattresses. Our crew then drove them straight to the families who have now been relocated to new units.
Although our community has stepped up to donate school uniforms, supplies, and other items, representatives from our English Learning Department were there to ask families if there were other needs that we can supply.
We are so thankful that Tempur Sealy and the Perry community are helping our families get back on their feet!
