Masks updated

Perry Township Schools will be moving to an indoor mask requirement for all staff, K-12 students, and visitors effective Thursday, August 19.

The goal of requiring masks is to keep our students and employees healthy and to keep our buildings open for in-person learning.

As the Marion County Covid-19 positivity rate is now over 10 percent, local, state, and federal health officials agree that masks can offer protection against Covid and its variants.

The mask requirement will remain in effect until further notice. We will continue to monitor Covid positivity rates and make adjustments based on recommendations from the Marion County Public Health Department.
