PMMS will celebrate Veterans Day on Friday, November 11. In salute to all who have served, we will begin our day with a short visual tribute via our school’s student television program. We are also planning activities in the students’ social studies classes to honor and recognize all those who served or are currently serving in our armed forces.
In addition, we would like to host a luncheon for all branches of military service and any individual from our fire or police departments. Our students may invite one of these public service members to this luncheon. The 7th grade luncheon will take place from 11:15 A.M.-12:00 P.M. and the 8th grade luncheon will take place from 12:15 P.M.-1:00 P.M.
If you are interested in inviting an individual to this luncheon, please return the lower portion of this letter to the main office by Friday, November 4. A complimentary Texas Roadhouse lunch will be provided for the Veteran and/or Service Member. Additional lunches for students or other family members may be purchased at a cost of $10 per person. When returning this form, please include any additional monies. (We apologize, we will not be able to issue refunds due to absence.)
