Education Background:
I graduated from Post Falls High School in 1988 in Post Falls, Idaho. I attended North Idaho College for two years and IUPUI for two years.

How long have you worked in the district?
I started as a substitute driver in 2002.

What goals do you have for your students?
To be kind and thoughtful to one another.

Name your favorite band or musician:
I have two, Bon Jovi and George Strait!

What is something your students might be surprised to learn about you?
In my senior year of high school and in college, I was a radio DJ. I also produced a video about stop arm violations that was later used as an ad for an insurance company.

Name 3 people — living or dead — you would like to invite to dinner.
Jimmy Stewart, Carrie Fisher, my family. I love family dinners.

When you were a kid, what were your career aspirations?
I wanted to be a cinematographer.

If you were trapped on a deserted island, what are the three items you would want with you?
Water purifier straw, my Flint & Steel keychain, and my Spyderco pocket knife.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?  When I was a teenager, my brother and I would go visit my dad in New York City.  We would go into the city for adventures, and we would always end up visiting the World Trade Center. On one particular visit, my brother and I went out on the observation deck. It was so clear — and a nice sunny day. I stayed up there for about an hour just looking out to sea and trying to point out all of the boroughs. It was just a special time for me.
