Dear Southport Elementary Families,

As part of our ongoing efforts to give back to the community and support families in need, the 5th graders are once again hosting a food drive here at SES. The food drive will take place on November 3rd – November 14th. This initiative aims to collect non-perishable food items, especially canned goods, to help local families facing food insecurity. In times of hardship, a small act of kindness can make a world of difference, and we believe our collective efforts can have a positive impact on those in need.

We are asking for your generous support in donating canned goods such as vegetables, soups, beans, fruits, tuna, chicken and other non-perishable items. The success of this drive relies on the kindness and generosity of our community. Please send any of these items to school with your children any time between the dates of November 3 – 14, 2025.
