To wrap up a 3 week unit discovering how and why animals are classified, RPE’s 3rd graders were treated with a Silly Safari presentation.  During the unit students focused on the 5 Vertebrate families and even researched and wrote a paper on a vertebrate animal of their choosing. At the Silly Safari, students were able to see their learning come to life as they were introduces to a variety of different animals, including a rabbit, tarantula and python.
