1st Grade Supply List
- Backpack (No wheels)
- 1 art box (approximately 8″ x 5″ x 2″)
- 2 packages of 24 #2 yellow pencils (already sharpened, if possible)
- 1 pair of children’s scissors
- 1 red vinyl/plastic folder with pockets and center clasps
- 1 blue vinyl/plastic folder with pockets and center clasps
- 1 CLEAR pencil pouch (w/3 hole punch)
- 2 packages of 24 count crayons
- 5–6 glue sticks
- 8 black dry erase markers
- Headphones (durable, not wireless)
- 1 container of disinfectant wipes
- 2 boxes of tissues
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
Optional Supply Donations
- 1 package of washable markers
- latex free bandaids
- Gallon Size Ziploc Bags
- Paper towels
- 3×5 White Index Cards
Supplies for Art and Project Lead the Way
Each grade is responsible for one or two items. These are donated to the art room and Project Lead the Way.
- First Grade Girls – baby wipes
- First Grade Boys – disinfectant wipes
- 1 basic Subject Spiral Notebook for PLTW
Examples: These examples are intended to help you find the appropriate supplies.

Glue Sticks: Because some supplies are used in a community fashion, it is best to avoid novelty glue sticks.
Vinyl/Plastic folders: All folders need to have the clasps in the middle. Plastic folders hold up better throughout the year.
Expo Markers: We use these frequently for all subject areas. Low odor is best.
Tool kits (pencil boxes): The best size is approximately 8″ × 5″ × 2″. Larger tool kits are harder to store in the classroom.
