8th Grade Field Trips; 8th Grade Dance

INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY TRIP 
Our 8th grade students have an exciting opportunity to attend Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the following dates:
Team Pursuit: May 14th
Teams Elevate/Flight: May 16th
Teams Ascend/Navigate: May 17th.

Students received permission slips last week. If you still need to do so, please sign and have your child return as soon as possible. There is no cost associated with this field trip as admission is free. We are excited about this opportunity and hope our students enjoy the day.

DANCE TIME!  
The Perry Meridian 8th grade dance will be on Saturday, May 18th from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Students may purchase tickets to the dance during lunch this week for $10. Students will be served drinks, pizza, and desserts throughout the evening.

Many of our students will wear formal attire, but that is not a requirement to attend, as students may wear their school uniform. All attire must be school-appropriate and align with our dress code expectations: for example, all bottoms must be finger-tip length, the midriff must be covered, pants around the waist, etc. Dress expectations will be reinforced throughout the week during lunches.

Only Perry Middle 8th grade students will be permitted to attend. We are excited about this event and cannot wait for our students to have a ton of fun and create memories with their peers.
