New School Year Information...

Perry Middle Families,

My name is Dustin Criswell, and I am the lucky individual who gets to serve as the principal at Perry Meridian Middle School. We are excited for the 2026-27 school year and look forward to supporting your child during his/her middle school journey.

If you have any questions or concerns, our front office is now open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please feel free to call 317-789-4100 or visit us in person. We can’t wait to see the many great things we will accomplish together this school year.

Future Communication:
Starting July 23rd, I will begin communicating each Sunday evening concerning valuable information and the many wonderful things that are happening at PMMS.  We are eager to welcome our students back and can’t wait to see the many great things they will do throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Some dates that are quickly approaching:

Orientation: Tuesday, July 21st
Join us at one of our orientation sessions on Tuesday, July 21st, between either 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, or between 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Please enter through door 2.  This will be an opportunity to pick up your child’s schedule, locate lockers, tour the building, meet some of our staff members, etc. We are excited to spend a little time with you and your child before the year begins.

Sports Physical Night: Wednesday, July 22nd:
Any student wishing to participate in athletics this school year must have a physical on file with the athletic department.  On Wednesday, July 22nd, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, students may receive a physical at Perry Meridian High School for the cost of $20.00. This will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.

All students participating in athletics during the upcoming school year must register online using Final Forms. Student-athletes not registered through Final Forms will not be allowed to compete until they have completed this process. This must also be done before submitting the athletic physical that the doctor completes.  Please access the following link to register your student: Final Forms. If you have questions or concerns, please contact our athletic director, Mr. Schornick, at 317-789-4191.

Student First Day, Wednesday, July 29th:
Our first student day will be Wednesday, July 29th, and this will be an early release Wednesday. Our usual school day begins at 8:10 a.m. each day and ends at 2:55 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  It ends at 2:30 p.m. on early release Wednesdays.

Back-To-School Night, Monday, August 10th:
For your future planning, our Back-to-School night will be held on Monday, August 10th beginning at 6:30 p.m. This will be a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and learn more about the many opportunities your child will have here at Perry Meridian Middle School.
