With Halloween on Thursday 10/31, many students have inquired about dressing up for the occasion. Students are invited to wear costumes provided that they are:

• school appropriate, which means following the Southport High School Dress Code,
• no obscene or revealing clothing,
• do not cover up the head or face (no masks or face paint),
• and no props, especially props that could disrupt classes or traffic flow in the hallways.

If you need to ask if a costume is appropriate, it probably is NOT.
