★ How can you help? Make attendance a priority, communicate any absences promptly, and provide medical documentation for health-based absences. Contact your student’s counselor or our school social worker if your family needs support.

★ Legal Requirement: SEA 282

○ Students who miss 5 or more school days per quarter will be required to attend an attendance conference with school staff and their parents to develop an individualized attendance improvement plan.

○ Students who miss more than 20 school days in a year will be reported to DCS and the State Prosecutor’s Office.
