Morning Drop Off

Time: 7:30 am to 7:55 am

Parents should enter campus through the Meridian School Road entrance. The car rider line moves through the staff parking area. Students should be dropped off along the curb only. Once middle school students enter the SE Gym entrance, they should proceed immediately to the East Gym and sit in the bleachers, where supervisors await. Be  aware that staff may direct exiting cars to exit WEST on Meridian School Road, depending on traffic.

Afternoon Pick Up

The afternoon pick-up location is different than the morning drop-off.  If your child is an afternoon car rider, please enter through the 6th Grade Academy off of 135.  The line will begin at the gate near the middle school bus lot and wrap around the back of the building. All car riders will be released at roughly 3:10 PM and 2:45 PM on Wednesdays after all buses have been dismissed from the lot. Students will be picked up in front of the middle school as they stand on the sidewalk.

Walkers

Walking Permission Forms may be picked up in the Guidance Office or obtained here.  Students are permitted to walk home if they adhere strictly to the procedures below. Violation of these rules can result in a loss of privileges.

1. A Walking Permission Form must be signed by a parent and be on file with the Guidance Office.
2. At dismissal time, walkers must wait in the designated area.
3. Walkers will not be permitted to leave the building until so directed.
4. Walkers must use available sidewalks and roads and are not to cut through lawns and other private property.
5. Walkers should cross roads at a stoplight where available or use pedestrian crosswalk signals.
6. Walkers must show respect for the property of others and must not be a nuisance nor loiter in places of business.
