AEMing for Achievement:
Exciting things are happening with AT and Accessible Materials in Perry Township! We are one of the recipients of the PATINS AEMing for Achievement Grant for the 2022-2023 school year. Look for lots of updates coming soon as the grant committee works with our PATINS Specialist partner to create materials and update our policies and procedures.

Accessibility Tools site:

We are excited to announce that the first section of our Accessibility Tools WebsiteReading, is now ready for use by the district! The site is designed to help teachers, students, and families match student needs with specific technology tools. It will eventually include sections for each WIDA domain – Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening.
Visit the site to explore the reading (and, more generally, vision) support tools available to all Perry Township students, as well as information about resources that are available for qualified students through our Special Education department.

Contacts:

Callie Herrenbruck is our district AT expert. Contact Callie with any specific needs or questions regarding students who require special equipment or materials in specialized formats.

Contact the Help Desk or one of the Instructional Technology Specialists if you have questions about the tools that are available for all students.
