Your Application = Funding for Our Students!

We need YOUR help!

Southport families, we need YOUR help! Please take a few minutes to fill out the financial assistance application for the 2026–27 school year. Every application matters, even if you aren’t sure you qualify.

For the past few years, funding has allowed Perry Township to provide free breakfast and lunch for our students and SHS has been identified as a Title I school based on our needs. Unfortunately, that funding is not guaranteed for next year or in the future. The more applications we receive, the more funding our schools can receive to support our students.

Applications are due August 31! If you already completed your application for another student in the district, you do NOT need to complete the form again.

Steps To Apply

Apply online now :https://www.perryschools.org/departments/child-nutrition/ .

Go to the Free and Reduced Lunch Application tab on the bottom of the page.

Click on “Free and Reduced Lunch Application”, then click the red Skyward button, and log-into Skyward.

Under your student, click on the “Food Service Applications” tile.

In the upper righthand corner of the screen, click +Start New Application

Then, complete the form. You will have to list Household Members, SNAP/TANF Information (if applicable), Household Income, Contact Information

If you would rather complete a paper copy, please stop by the school office to pick one up or reach out to the school and we will be happy to send a copy home with your student.
