21st Century Scholars
The 21st Century Scholarship is a valuable opportunity for Indiana students to make college more affordable. This program covers up to 100% of tuition at public colleges in Indiana and a portion of tuition at private or independent institutions. To qualify, students must be Indiana residents, U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, and apply while in 7th or 8th grade at an accredited Indiana school. Additionally, they must come from families that meet specific income eligibility guidelines. However, students in foster care are exempt from the income requirement, ensuring wider access to this life-changing program. Learn more on their website.
FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a crucial step for seniors planning to attend college. By completing the FAFSA, students can unlock access to financial aid opportunities, including grants, scholarships, and loans, helping make higher education more affordable. It’s important for all seniors to complete the FAFSA, as many colleges and universities use it to determine eligibility for financial aid packages. The sooner you submit it, the better, as some aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to complete your FAFSA as soon as possible to maximize your aid options. Graduation Pathway For Class of 2025-2028
Every student in Indiana is required to complete a Graduation Pathway in order to graduate. This program allows students to personalize their graduation requirements to align with their postsecondary goals of Enrollment, Employment, or Enlistment leading to service. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all academic path, students can choose the high school options that best suit their individual needs and future aspirations. To learn more about what it takes to complete a Graduation Pathway, check out this presentation.
