Our middle school theatre program gives 6th–8th graders hands-on experience both on stage and behind the scenes through semester productions and open game days.

• Main Stage Plays: Auditions (acting) and interviews (tech crew for lights, sound, costumes, stage hands, etc.) take place every fall and spring. Cast and crew train together all semester to produce a show.
• Fall Competition: The fall cast and crew will compete at regionals on December 5, with a chance to advance to the state championship in January.
• Quarterly Drama Days: Open to all students—no audition required. Join us once a quarter for fun drama games, activities, and an easy way to try out theatre. First Quarterly Meeting: Wednesday, September 16, 2:30–4:00 PM, Auditorium

Math Pentathlon is a club for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students at Southport Academy and Southport Middle School. In Math Pentathlon, students learn to play 5 math games to compete in the tournament in the spring. Check out this website for more information!
