IREAD-3
IREAD-3 (Indiana Reading Evaluation and Determination)
The IREAD-3 is a state-required assessment aligned with the Indiana Academic Standards, developed to meet the state law requirement (HEA 1367 and SEA 1) that students be able to read by the end of 3rd grade. This test measures foundational reading skills, focusing on the ability to read words and understand the basic meaning of what is read. Students must take the test beginning in grade 2 and will continue to take it each year until they pass or until they start 7th grade. [Grades: 2-6 | Spring & Summer]
